work at home mom Well This week is beginning with little sunshine I hope that these resources help spread some sun shine in to your life. I have gotten a few questions on where is the best place to get started. So these resources are to help you get started with a website

First I always suggest if your doing a blog or a website is to have your own domain name. This is important expecially if your going to be sharing information on creating an income from home or selling a product. Often times people will not even click if its a free site. I get mine from GoDaddy.com I have found they are really good with costumer service as well as reliable and the site is pretty easy to navigate. I have also gotten calls when a domain is about to expire just as a reminder. I knew the domain was expiring but it was nice to get the call.

Next would be hosting. Yes Go daddy does offer some hosting however I think its a better idea to Not have your hosting and your domain from at the same place. The one I have found to be really good is Mom Webs The costumer support is amazing. Any problems or questions are answered quickly and always helpful. they are also very affordable. Another one I have heard good reviews about is Hostgator.com there you can host as many domains as you want for one price. Not to bad if you ask me. I have not used it but everyone I know who does loves it.

Next is often asked How do I build the site. If you don’t know HTML then it may be a good idea to go with Wordpress, it is very easy to use and you can make it appear to be a website with out to much work and effort. There are great plug ins and ways to get it to look the way you want to. This is also what I recommend people use for their Blogs. It is pretty easy to install with cpanel hosting (both of the above have that) or installing on your own is not hard either just a few clicks.

Building a list is a great way to help your business. I recommend Aweber yes it is a little much to get started however 9 out of 10 marketers end up going to Aweber, moving over from a different host or place often creates a loss in subscribers. So its better to start with it so you can work on growing your list and not worry about moving it. Also you can have more then one list. say you have a few sites and want a different list on each you can do that with no extra charge or anything.
