Well we moved to Washington about 6 weeks ago. We have gone to the DMV a total of three times trying to get drivers licenses, Well the first time the proof of address we had didnt work but everything else did. Second time same documents just a real bill nope no proof of identity OK fine. Today we went back I brought every piece of paper I could find that had my name and signature on it and anything with my birth date.
We head down there I was expecting a long line I wasn’t feeling good and expected the worst. We walked in then took a number 352 and they were on 351 
OK good thing. Then we got called I handed her things she kept looking at them like what do I need this for she pulled what would work and handed us the rest. Then asked some questions and she finally said OK and I got the license with no problems. I was so excited. I went took my picture and well its not bad if I do say so myself. Then head home. DH hates the way his is but he isn’t ever happy with any picture of him so I am not reading to much in to that.
It really had me worried here on the news tonight is about a guy who for the last 7 years has not been able to get a license for one reason or another. its been a commercial I honestly felt well that’s going to be me soon. If they are having issues with people who have lived here all their lives why not me someone who has been here for such a short time.
I am glad that whole ordeal is over now though And they registered me to vote so I thats one less thing to worry about.
