The Newest and Hottest Thing

I am not sure about you but it seems to be that every month or so there is some new thing that I am hearing about that is the newest or hottest thing that is going to change the internet marketing world. Well I am honestly totally confused with it all. At what point do we stop trying to be on top of it all and just go with what we know.
Recently I was talking with some friends about this topic and I figured out that the main bottom line is in reality is the same and its the way you network, and get you and your product or services out there and known. Perhaps some of these new things may help you along the way but most in my personal opinion are a waste of money.
I feel that the best tool to marketing and networking is You. Yes you do need to have some knowledge on how to do certain things I should mention that right off the bat. However if you are not putting yourself out there no matter how much knowledge you have or how much you have spend on all of these products it may not happen. I am willing to bet that most of the really successful marketers use this important networking tool.
What I do when a hot new product is coming out listen to my gut what does it say? I Try to step back from what everyone else is saying and give it a real listen to and see what my heart says that is the true voice that knows. For me Its a few day if not a week process before deciding on making the choice. Because part of me knows that give it a few weeks there will be ‘better’ next month.
So if you ask me and perhaps your not, but take this and think about it, you don’t need the every hot or great ebook to be successful in business, select a some you really believe in, work those and network the best you can. After some time and you have used what you have learned and started moving forward then get a couple more and begin the process again. I believe this helps setting boundaries as well as helps from getting information overload.
