Time management is a very important skill to learn and master. We often waste so much time each day doing pointless things when our time could be better spent.
Time management is so important to success.
One of the major causes of stress in the 21st century is a lack of time. We are all really busy, especially parents who look after kids and work. If you are not careful you can end up being controlled by the tyranny of the urgent, constantly putting out fires. I find that prioritizing and planning your work (usually at the weekly level), and then working your plan, is a great step towards getting the most important things done. I write more about this at http://www.stress-management-for-peak-performance.com/time-management-skills.html
All the best

This helped me a lot off line, Online I still get side tracked so easily it is crazy LOL. With the click of something I am wondering on to something else.
Great tip thanks so much, I think for me having a white board with the weeks to-do list in front of my desk helps me know what is left to do by Friday. However like I told Betty online I often get side tracked online. which is tough since most of the things I do is online.
“time wasters” – that’s a good term. I think I should create a list of those and then set up a limit of one “time waster” per day (well, maybe 2 time wasters on a holiday).
