Supporting Moms At Mommyland
Not sure if you know this or not, I have a forum at Mommyland, It is more of a mom type forum, since most of the forums I was frequenting was work at home with a little parenting topics I decided to have one a little more the opposite. Topics cover various aspects of home life as well as parenting, some work at home but it is not the focus of the forum.
I spent a good amount of time today upgrading and and adding mods to the Mommyland Forum today. The software was due for an upgrade to a new better version which meant a few of the mods were not compatible so working through those and making some template changes. I also found some neat new features that vbulletin added with this new 3.7 gold upgrade. You can create groups or add comments on other members profile kinda like a mini networking site its kinda neat.
It came out about a week or so ago along with the WP 2.5.1 I waited until today to make the change since I wanted to wait for the wordpress vbulletin bridge to be upgraded for it. I was not expecting the extra work. However the extra work did help get me out of my slump and my want to get Mommyland active again.
