• Organize the main living areas I did the kitchen and living room, the kitchen needs to be redone, when ever the kids put the groceries away it ends up all disorganised. That is something to work on.
• Regroup and get the most out of coupons I did start, didn’t get as far as I wanted to.

Business

• Read 2 books and implement what I learn I finished one book, didn’t start to implement it as of yet.
• Continue to blog and be more ‘here’ for business Not so much, More because I have been doing a more simple life thing right now, meaning less Internet and sitting behind the computer. So I will have to schedule this one in to life a little better.

For Myself and Marriage

• Do more listening Yes I believe I have, and asking more thoughtful questions trying to improve communication.
• At least 2 times a week get out of the house just to do something for me. Not really forgot about it. I have had a bad tooth ache most of the month so when I do get alone time its usually resting in bed.

I know I have a ways to go. I am working on things to improve all areas of life. Changing habits or making new ones does take time.

Back in Oct a friend on Facebook said she just read a really good book it sparked my interest, So I was going to visit my mom figured it would be a great time to try reading something new. Well that book was Leah’s Choice: Pleasant Valley Book One Well this book is amazing I ended up reading the next two books in the series with in a week or so. Since then I have been reading about 2-3 books a week. Most are the Amish romances I didn’t realize how much missed reading so much.

Along with my love of reading back, it has also made me want to go and do more baking, crafting and leading a more simple life. This has in turned made life with the kids so much easier and happier. I am not sure if its because that was missing is now back or if because I see these women doing these things that I can do, and I do them which also helps relax me. I am not totally sure but I know that what ever the reason life in the Wilson house has begin to turn and get better.

Briefly as to why I call it a road map, I figure life is a journey and when you take a trip it is also a journey. You would not leave the house with out a road map with a list of places you want to visit or see while taking your trip. So over the next year of my journey I make my planned ‘stops’ which are like goals or plans, to on my trip through the months to December.

These are my stops in no particular order, I update this post as they are finished. Some I don’t mark off because I feel they can be revisited.

Business

• Ask for help when Needed
• Learn to New ways of doing thing
• Be Open to new things
• Work on Ebooks

For Me

• Lose 15 lbs
• Go to bed eariler
• Remember to take time for me

For the Family

• Help them with their eduacation
• Become more encouraging with sports
• Teach them to cook
• Support and help them with their New Years Resolutions
• Change the way I Budget

For My Marriage

• Less critical
• Get vows renewed in December
• Be more open

3. Selling products. If you have a hobby like making and selling crafts you can expand your business online with a website. Set up a website that caters to your product offerings. Market these products online to drive traffic to your website.

4. Selling on eBay. With this idea, you set up shop on the Internet. You can sell products you created or items you own that you want to sell. Many now make a living selling on eBay. As your business grows, you can expand to involve other product markets.

5. Freelancing. Many online and offline businesses are looking for help. Freelancers lower the overhead of the company thus becoming more profitable for many jobs than hiring someone to work in the office. Depending on your talent, hire yourself out at a freelance writer, graphic artist, website designer or programmer.

6. Virtual assistant. Virtual assistants are the going trend for many businesses. In the beginning, virtual assistants performed the administrative duties of a company from their home. Now, VA’s can be found in all career specialties like medical, real estate, marketing and publishing. They perform tasks above administrative such as website administrator, report creation and Internet research.

7. Membership sites. You see more of these around these days. With a membership site, you choose a niche, such as online marketing. Customers pay to join at a certain level (gold, silver, bronze) and are rewarded with certain perks for their membership that include newsletters, videos or articles on marketing and services to help expand their own business. You create the website and supply the materials yourself or through outsourcing each month to your members.
