What a great idea. My kids are always looking for ways to earn money and I would of never thought there was a website for kids starting their own business. My wife and I work from home so I think this is a really great idea to get your kids thinking like entrepreneurs while they are still young and not easily discouraged.

I’ve thought this was a good idea ever since I was 7. I lived in the city and sold tons of produce, to my neighbors, from my grandpas garden. He even built a little stand for me, in my front yard. Those were the days!

My 6 year old really wants to have his own website. He’s an excellent reader, but he definitely needs to work on his typing skills. I tell him to practice and soon, soon, soon.

I can't even begin to say how much your kids can learn, even if it's a tiny business venture. Even something like selling a gentle-used toy or video game on eBay can be a teaching opportunity. Writing the ad, taking a picture, doing the math to see if the transaction will be profitable. It's never too young to start teaching these lessons.
