As many of you may know we have a Wii I love this thing lots of fun games to keep everyone in the family active while learning and getting off their rumps bottoms. Well Last night while on twitter @GoodEnoughWitch mentioned that she recently got a Wii and we were discussing different games and why we like it then she shared a post that Julie (@CoolMomGuide) from the Cool Mom Guide posted about using the Wii Fit to loose weight.

Reading her story was really an inspiration, and help me decide that yes it is more then just another game for the Wii like I had thought before it was actually something that I can use to get a little healthier and get more active.

Perhaps the Nintendo people are starting to think of ways to help our kids get more exercise and burn more energy with their whole bodies rather then just with their thumbs. I know even with the games we have now you have to get up and moving to play maybe not working as hard but you are standing and moving around.
