A Great Idea Update
Below is the original post It was brought to my attention that the wounded/recovering solders will Not receive these the Post office does not even deliver these to the hospital (the Hospital website ) Sad but true. I thought i was a great way to support our troops
On The bright side I found another link that has solders who have signed up that you can send cards and/or care packages to Its Any Soldier Inc And Operation Bandaid has more links that you can help with.
I honestly think that this is something we as the USA should be doing all year not just at the holiday time I realize that a lot of us get busy and sadly its pushed to the back of our minds. Maybe if we all help each other remember in the end our American Soldiers will know how much we really do care about them and really appreciate what they are doing not only for us but for the world. I know a few soldiers I won’t post names or addresses but if your interested let me know and I can get you their information.
I got this in an email today and I think its an awesome idea so I’m sharing it
When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please
include the following:
A Recovering American soldier
c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue,NW
Washington,D.C. 20307-5001
If you approve of the idea, please pass it on to your e-mail list.
