You Comment I Follow

I am excited to let you know that I have joined the U Comment, I Follow movement. Until recenty I had no clue about the whole nofollow issue that was, Apparently it was put on blogs suppose to stop spam. I have now taken a stand, I was wondering, why is it if you are contributing to someones conversation in their blog you arent followed I thought that it was that way but apparently I was wrong.

What a Wake Up Call
TamaraLast night before I went to bed it started to snow. I wasn’t thrilled but I did manage to say what ever. But thinking about it its to early to snow, isn’t it? But it wasnt snowing that bad and for the most part it was snowing of and on most of the day. So I figured no biggy, it probably wont even stick
I woke up to the sounds of giggles in the house. and opened up the window to find this the golf course out my back window had a blanket of snow on it. Ok I was wrong (I don’t mind admitting when I am) It did stick. From up there its a nice beautiful site with so much added spark.

Heck No its to early for Santa
TamaraWhile at the mall the other day I was just walking around looking for a book. And right there in the middle of the mall who do I see Santa the picture taking booth all set up and OPEN. I was floored I mean I love the fact that Santa is at the mall but isn’t Early November a little to early?.

A Press Release?
TamaraWell with the move and wanting to get my business Giggles and Smiles going up here in Washington I thought about doing a press release. Down side I have no clue how to do one. No clue even where to start. So I was searching I found this useful article I wanted to share.

What is a Press Release?
A press release is a newsworthy story about your business that you submit to various media outlets ~ newspapers, magazines, website, radio, television. This is a wonderful way to get free promotion for your website. Any story that the media picks up will be far more valuable than a paid advertising spot. Having the media do a story about you is like a personal endorsement of your website and business.
What is the Appropriate Format for Your Press Release?
Your press release should have six basic components and they are:
1. Release Instructions
“For Immediate Release”;
“For Release Before [date]” or
“For Release After [date]”Use one of the latter two if your press release is of a time sensitive nature. For example, if you are holding a public speaking event, you will want to use the “For Release Before [date]” and make sure you input the final date for registrations. If you are using the “For Release Before [date]” ensure you are sensitive to media deadlines. Send your release out well in advance.

TamaraI was surfing MyBlogLog and came across a site about Child abuse prevention. I really enjoyed this blog. Its full of helpful information on how to prevent child abuse. As a survivor I do a lot of reading on the topic to help my own children. There is some great information while reading I came across their November Contest. Which I am going to read a lot on since the boys are at that age and they both have been bullied as well as been the bully at various times. So I am looking forward to getting to know more on that topic I do not want them to be on either side I believe Alin has pretty much got out of that side of it. Improving my business
TamaraOver the last two days I have been printing and reading several e-courses as well as e-books trying to learn new things to improve my business. There are times I sit here and think I cant do that then figure out that I will be the reason I am not since I haven’t tried it there is no real knowing if this or that technique will be successful or not.
